Pengaruh Faktor Demografi Terhadap Pilihan Melakukan Perjalanan Udara Bagi Penumpang Bandara di Yogyakarta Selama Masa Pandemi COVID-19

Abstract


Pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada mobilitas manusia, khususnya di bidang penerbangan. Penurunan trafik penumpang yang dirasakan pengelola bandara Yogyakarta (Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta - YIA dan Bandara Adisutjipto - JOG) membuat pengelola bandara ingin mengetahui pilihan penumpang untuk bepergian di masa pandemi COVID-19. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei (daring dan luring) dan observasi lapangan. Data tersebut mencakup demografi responden serta persepsi atau preferensi penumpang untuk bepergian selama pandemi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penumpang masih ragu-ragu (moderat) apakah akan menunda atau melanjutkan perjalanan udara selama pandemi. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa semua faktor demografi seperti jenis kelamin, tujuan perjalanan, usia, dan pilihan bandara memiliki signifikansi dengan respon. Secara umum, penumpang ingin terbang secepat mungkin dalam satu hingga tiga bulan ke depan. Oleh karena itu, pengelola bandara harus memberikan layanan yang menjamin keselamatan pengguna agar terhindar dari paparan virus. Selain itu, perlu adanya kebijakan yang jelas dari pemerintah terkait mobilitas penumpang dan angkutan umum agar operasional angkutan umum khususnya penerbangan dapat berjalan dengan baik di masa pandemi.
